Aliens and UFOsI've always been fascinated with the possibility of other life forms existing somewhere "Out There" not to mention my interest in UFOs streaking above us and darting from star to star, or galaxy to galaxy. And why would they be doing that? Obviously because they are visiting someone. Anyway, back to the point. Since the summer of 2008 I've been drawn to explore what has definitely appeared to be alien life forms of my genetic past and the UFOs in it as well. Unexplained Family Obstacles that is. The latest New Age craze is what everyone is calling "DNA Activation" where they believe they can awaken, activate, and expand their DNA from its present 2-strand, 23-chromosomes . . . to that of 24-strand, 552-chromosomes. Sounds a little other-worldly. Doesn't it? I'm consumed with the need and interest in simply knowing all I can about my genetic past and heritage . . . obvious DNA heritage if you ask me. If people cannot understand who and why they are, in the here and now, what do they hope to accomplish with their preceived DNA Activation? Wouldn't that be somewhat like activating the unknown? If so, how would they know the difference between now and then, other than whatever physical, mental, emotional and spiritual garbage and unresolved issues they are carting around now will be multiplied by 24. That's a horrible thought. This new craze seems to me to be the epitome of escapism. Our past is the only ruler by which we can measure our progress, readiness, and ability for change. Why run into the future, chasing after elusive concepts and so far unprovable ideals, when perhaps most of our genetic secrets are hidden in our past. Makes a body more curious about the 10 Lost Tribes, or the mysteries locked in the thousands of Sumerian tablets, or even the real truth behind Christianity. There's just so much to be learned from the past, in order to unlock the future . . . or to preserve the future. When I lived in Germany I traveled extensively and a couple things that had a powerful impact on me was experiencing the concentration camps, and watching the television documentaries about WWII. And believe me, they do not make themselves out to be righteous. In fact it's sort of heart breaking how they are able to face the truth about what really happened to them, about them, with them, because of them, you name it. And they have encapsulated all of it into one simple saying, "Leave us not forget (the past), lest history repeat itself." Sounds unnervingly prophetic if you ask me. In the Nag Hammadi Scrolls, in the book of Phillip, Jesus was again asked, like he had been a thousand times before, to tell the disciples about the end times. Jesus answered, and I must paraphrase for now, "How will you ever understand your end if you can't understand your beginning (genesis)?" I'll leave it at that for now. Sounds like a whole new idea for another article.
